General Terms and Conditions

Terms for fantasyhockey.eu, the WFM account and one-off purchases of digital WFM credits. Effective 10 September 2026.

2. Scope and definitions

These Terms govern the relationship between the trader and a user of the WFM Hockey website or app. A consumer is a natural person acting outside a trade or profession. A WFM credit is a contractual virtual unit usable only in the account to which it was added.

These Terms, the current price shown before purchase, Game Rules and Privacy Policy form the contract. An individual agreement prevails where it differs.

3. Registration and account

  • Registration is free and requires a working e-mail, nickname, password and acceptance of the current documents.
  • Independent registration is for ages 16 and over; a user under 18 may purchase only with a legal guardian's consent.
  • The account is personal and non-transferable. The user protects credentials and promptly reports suspected misuse.
  • The 50 welcome credits are a free promotional bonus, not a purchased product, and have no cash value.

4. Game, fair play and content

Users follow the Game Rules and must not use multiple accounts, manipulation, security circumvention, automated abuse, unlawful or abusive content. The user remains responsible for submitted content and grants the trader a non-exclusive licence to display it as necessary to operate WFM.

Breaching the rules may lead to content removal and proportionate restriction or closure. Where the incident permits, the user receives a reason and may contact support.

5. Order and conclusion of contract

  1. The signed-in user selects a package in WFM Credits and sees the credit amount, final price, currency and any bonus before payment.
  2. The user accepts the Terms, expressly requests immediate digital supply and acknowledges its effect on the right of withdrawal.
  3. Selecting a package displays bank transfer instructions. Creating instructions does not debit money or add credits. Confirm the exact amount and variable symbol in your bank.
  4. The contract is concluded when payment succeeds. After server confirmation WFM adds the credits and e-mails durable confirmation of the order.

The user may review or abandon the order before payment. The contract is concluded in Slovak or English according to the selected site; WFM keeps the order record as legally required and the user can see credit history in the account.

6. Price and payment

The final euro price shown for the package immediately before purchase governs and includes all applicable taxes and charges. WFM adds no hidden fee. Credits are added after the incoming EUR bank transfer has been verified.

If payment fails or is cancelled, no credits are added. Duplicate confirmation of the same bank transaction cannot produce duplicate crediting.

7. Supply and use of credits

Credits are supplied to the server wallet without undue delay after payment confirmation. They are not electronic money, legal tender or an investment and cannot be transferred, cashed out or resold.

The current credit cost is shown before each feature activation. A paid tool may expand tactical choices but does not alter the scoring formula or guarantee a result, ranking or prize.

8. Consumer right of withdrawal

A consumer entering a distance contract generally has 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. Because credits are digital performance supplied immediately, WFM starts supply before that period ends only after the consumer expressly requests it and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost after full supply. Once the complete package is credited on that basis, the withdrawal right ends; statutory remedies for defects remain unaffected.

If immediate supply was not validly requested or was not completed, send an unequivocal withdrawal statement to info@fantasyhockey.eu with the account e-mail, order ID, date and request.

9. Defects, complaints and refunds

Digital performance must be supplied in the agreed amount, available in the account and functional as described. Send a complaint to info@fantasyhockey.eu with account e-mail, order number, issue, time and preferably a screenshot. Never send a password or full card details.

We confirm receipt without delay and state how it will be handled. Depending on the defect, we will add missing credits, restore conformity, provide a proportionate price reduction or refund where required by law. Handling is free and without undue delay within the statutory period.

Report an unauthorised or duplicate payment promptly. Refunds use the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise.

10. Competitions and prizes

Competitions follow the separately published Rules and Prizes page. A credit purchase does not itself create a prize entitlement and no paid feature guarantees a win. Results follow official sports data and may be corrected when the source corrects them.

11. Availability and changes

WFM may carry out security maintenance and reasonable updates. A material change to a paid feature or these Terms will be announced clearly in advance where circumstances allow. Purchased credits will not be cancelled without a lawful reason or appropriate remedy.

Maintenance, force majeure or a third-party outage does not remove statutory rights for unsupplied or defective performance.

12. Account closure

A user may delete the account in the profile. Before deletion, use valid credits or contact support; deletion does not automatically create a right to cash exchange. A serious rules breach may lead to restriction while statutory consumer claims remain intact.

13. Liability

The trader is not responsible for sporting decisions, changes to official statistics or the user's result. Nothing excludes liability that mandatory law does not allow to be excluded, including consumer remedies for defective digital performance and damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

14. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution

First send a request for redress to info@fantasyhockey.eu. If it is rejected or not answered within 30 days, a consumer may apply to the competent alternative dispute resolution entity. For ordinary consumer disputes this is primarily the Slovak Trade Inspection, Bajkalská 21/A, P. O. BOX 29, 827 99 Bratislava 27.

The EU ODR platform has been discontinued, so these Terms do not link to it. The right to bring a court claim remains unaffected.

15. Governing law

Slovak law governs. A consumer retains mandatory protection granted by the law of the country of habitual residence. Invalidity of one provision does not affect the others.

16. Legal framework and version

These Terms reflect Slovak Consumer Protection Act No. 108/2024, Electronic Commerce Act No. 22/2004, the Civil Code and Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Act No. 391/2015.

Current version: 2026-09-10-v1. The trader will provide an older version applicable to a particular order upon request.
